Vacation in a miraculous place

It seems to me the whole world wants to “touch” the north beauty and walk around the Vikings places. It is great to have a rest as a whole family or alone.

The great part on the East of the country is covered by green forests and blue lakes full of fish. The Eastern part includes the National Park “Jotunheimen” which is really a godsend to those who like to spend their leisure time hiking or keen on rock-climbing because of the highest mountains in Norway. One of them – Gulhoepiggen, the highest among them all – is 2469m high. The highest mountain road in Scandinavia is constructed nearby. You walk and feel the presence of Vikings everywhere around you. Norway’s nature is gorgeous, the culture is rich!

Central part of Norway – Troendelag – contains the lands full of fauna; it is famous for its national parks, among them Femundsmarka in which deer are bred in natural conditions. The Dovrefjeld gives shelter to the rare musky bull, arctic fox, glutton and other animals. The biggest city in the Central part is Tronheim, which was the first Norwegian capital established in 997.

Southern Norway attracts many families by its sunny summers and healthy climate. There are a lot of hills and valleys, lakes and ponds. Telemarka region with it’s a 100-kilometer channel perfectly suits for those who would like to go boating. Kristiansand is famous for its resorts, beaches with many restaurants and café. Here you can get on well due to the climate and physical exercises such as swimming, hiking, and jogging.

There are also the Zoo and Amusement Park nearby, so that families could spend the whole day with their parents strolling up and down the well planned streets of Kristiansand.

From the nineteenth century fjords have become the national sight associated with Norway. According to the National Geographic they are the most well kept place of interest among other 830 nature sanctuaries and cultures in the list of a worldwide heritage of UNESCO. They say that most part of the landscape has not been dramatically changed since Vikings set out on distant journeys from here. Geirangerfjord with the Fall of Seven Sisters, Hardangerfjord famous for its orchards and dairy-farms cosy settled down on its slopes, extensive Sognefjord, the slimmest Neroefjord more than 1000m high, Lisefjord and many other fjords being cut out in rocks reveal utter and complete greatness of the nature.
